2020 Tacoma stock stereo, rear speakers???

Hello. So I have been enjoying my 2020 Tacoma sr5. I notice that the rear speakers of my non jbl system are very quiet compared to the front.
The front sounds decent on its own.
I am thinking of adding Kicker speakers to the front.
Do you guys just not use the rear speakers at all?
Is it worth the trouble to get the rears balanced? (New speakers, amp, new head)

I drive a Miata.

Normal. The rears might as well not exist.

I currently have my front and rear balanced with an amp and aftermarket speakers. There's not a huge difference between balanced and front-heavy.
