Who has them? I just picked up a 1988 GMC K2500. 5.7 TBI, SM465 trans, A/C and CC. I drove it home from it's earthen grave, LF wheel had a functioning brake. Exhaust leaks were killing me even with the windows rolled down when it was 40° outside. Considering it's 35 years old, it isn't in hateful condition but it's far from being a 'nice' truck. A few trips to different people parting out trucks on marketplace have yielded most of the pieces that I needed to get it safe to drive.

I swapped in a complete exhaust from a '94, Y pipe and everything. The 1st 2 hangers bolted right in place on the frame, the rear hanger needed 2 holes drilled into the frame. Total rear brakes/e-brake cables last week, I'm chasing down a massive oil leak on the engine. I hit it with 4 cans of Easy-off oven cleaner then power washed, there's still too much caked on crud from keeping me to figure out the oil leak.

That's not a beater in my eyes, that's a classic.
