UTAH (and Surrounding Areas) BS Thread

Our home here in Vineyard was built by edge and they did a great job, that's coming from someone who does construction for a living. Not sure what happened here but I know they were condemned last fall but that whole mountain is just one giant sand pile, i don't know why they keep building there. Falls on the city as well.

I was in one as well at one point. It was built okay. had some glaring issues. But yeah, that side of the hill...is just bad. Lots of finger pointing going on right now.

 

Yup and there will probably be more as well on that mountain. I know a few homes in farmington are in trouble too but we'll see what happens there.

 

the stuff next to the refinery and mine in the NSL area...scare me as well. lol

 

For real man, i see them keep digging out the ground underneath those homes and that would terrify me as a home owner lol

Howdy folks, more questions for y’all.

I’m going to fabricobble a suspension setup together I think…seems to be a cheaper route than $5000+ for an all in one.
Most of it will be used items, so I know to look closely/be wary.
I had a full Icon setup on my last truck that I liked, I just don’t have that amount of money right now since I’ll be buying tires for the TE’s after the lift.
If I’m able to source some King or Icon coil overs w/resi’s, an add-a-leaf(maybe get this new) then some control arms. Anything I should pay particular attention to? Given everything would be for the appropriate make/model/year, it should more or less go together, no?

My step dad & I have fossils in the museum there and I wanna go see em on display.
Figure since I have my tent and bike on the truck now I’ll take the lady and make a trip of it.
Just wondering if there’s some half decent camping spots, & bike trails?

 

Check out the Flume trail and the associated area. Been told there's good biking in that area, just never had a chance to bring the bike any of the times I've been in the area.

 

Did this today.

Used a product called Raptor Liner. It’s a pretty stellar product. Essentially, a DIY Rhino Liner.

I failed to take a pic of the RTT all sanded and bondod.
