2005 Reg Cab 2.7. Orig owner, engine and trans.

So my engine runs fine, but its definitely got an oil leak. I suspect its from the greasy valve cover. I suspect the leak is from the breather tube. I dont care about blowby, just want to address the oil leak.

Will an oil catch can help the leak?

No. If the breather tube (a rubber hose) is leaking, replace it. If you haven't replaced the PCV valve, do that before anything else. A gummed up PCV valve will cause pressure buildup in the engine and promote oil leaks.
