I just installed a Nilight 32” light bar on my Tacoma and everything works, but I can for some reason always turn the light on even when the car is off. Is that normal? And is it even that big of a deal?

I'm guessing that you tied into an "always on" circuit. If you had tied into an "on with ignition" circuit, it would only come on when the key is on. How did you wire it?

    not enough.
not that big a deal. I have mine connected to a circuitbreaker+fuse box that is directly connected to the battery. I can turn the bar and some of my accessories on/off with the ignition off. Which means i don't have to turn the vehicle on to use them. i don't have any power draw from it, not htat I could see. so....

did you wire it up to its own switch power to the battery? if so not a problem. I like my lights to be powered outside of the oem power system. though most of my off-road lights are wired directly to a powered box of the battery to keep them with the ability to be used ignition off. though I've jumped my truck after my son decided to get into my truck and push the buttons on the dash...
