I’m having trouble troubleshooting why my DRL are not working. My hazards do though and I’m not sure where else to look.

    Bulbs and sockets appear fine

    Thanks

There is no fuse for the DRLs, they are controlled by the flasher relay.
Do your turn signals all work?

All of my signals are working. Check the flasher relay?

I'm assuming your truck has DRL? Not all 2nd gens did.
If you do then you want to check Pin 12 (Light Green/Red) at the Turn Signal Flasher, the Body ECU should ground this wire to turn on the DRL.

    DRL is a negative trigger...not 12v DC +

Ah my mistake, I couldn't find any info about it in service information so I was thinking it supplied 12v to turn it on.
    Thanks for the correction:thumbsup:

One thing I did do was the anytime fog light mod . Could this have caused this? The only electrical thing I’ve done to date

DRL's on 2nd gens use the same filament as the front turn signal, the flasher relay turns them on when the Body ECU grounds the DRL wire (Pin 12).
Trucks with DRL have a 12 Pin Flasher Relay, trucks without DRL have an 8 Pin Flasher Relay.
Pin 12 (Light Green/Red) of the Flasher Relay is the DRL enable signal from the Body ECU, the Body ECU grounds this wire to turn them on. If you have the 12 pin relay you need to check that wire, if the Body ECU is grounding it like it's supposed to then the Flasher Relay is bad.

This harness connects the DRL/TURN/HAZARDS relay to the Main Body ECU.
With a probe like jumper wire, place one end of wire to a verified ground and the other end (probe) to terminal 10 on 1M. Turn engine ON, have someone verify that the TURN lamps turn ON.
