Truck started misfiring on the way home from work today. Initial code scan was P0300- multiple cylinder misfires. I had a set of new coil pack and a new set of plugs. I replaced all 6 cylinders. Ran the truck cleared the codes and now it is misfiring and throwing codes P0302 and P0303.

    Any thoughts?

If its all of a sudden I'd suspect fuel.

    Any smoke? Check fluid levels?

    Everything seated?

Check the wires going to 2 and 3?

Swap the coils from other cylinders to 2 and 3 and see what you have :notsure:

No smoke, fluids are all good. Could be fuel related, but it feels just like a coil going out i.e. lumpy idle, misfire on acceleration, won't go above 50mph up hills, just bogs when getting above 3k rpm.
    I'll try switching 2 and 3 around.

Figured it out. 2 coils died together (a little weird). One of the new coils was bad (the one I put in cylinder 3), tested in cylinder 5 (yep, bad). Additionally, some fool (me) managed to compress the electrode on one of the new plugs while installing it. That led to the misfire on cylinder 2. After putting one of the old good coils in cylinder 3 and a re-gapped plug in 2 we are back on the road.

    Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

Another Note: Using Denso 20KR-U11 plugs, but, I looking at the cross reference on the Denso webpage I found that the Denso IK20TT is listed as the equivalent in an Iridium plug.

    According to Denso 20KR-U11 = IK20TT Iridium

Can anyone confirm using the IK20TT?

They are not the same plug.
The 20KR-U11 is a standard Nickel core plug.
The IK20TT is an Iridium core plug.

Both are compatible to use in the 4.0 engine.
If your engine is running fine with the Iridium’s that’s good.
    The factory installs nickel core.
