    Snug top Rebel, Thule tracks, ditch tracks, Bagged rear suspension, F/R anytime camera, intermittent wiper switch...
    Wind could definitely rip that out. I try to avoid letting doors swing open too freely from wind or hills etc. for just that reason. It’s much weaker at that point in the swing.

    when I have passengers with me, I purposely park head into the wind if it’s a windy day. No matter how many times they are warned, someone always lets a door fly out of their hands.:annoyed:

    After reading this thread yesterday my driver side door developed a thunk when nearly closed. Had a look at it and very gingerly tried to check that the nuts were tight. Well, one of the studs snapped off pretty effortlessly. Thankfully it didn't pull out of the door like this, but it looks like I'll be replacing my door check. The silver lining is, that I guess now I have a reason to install some of the sound deadening material I've been considering!
