Do you have road hazard insurance on the tires? On a new-ish (2023) truck, it may be covered.

I would plug it and put the tire in the rear.

No one has asked the simple question, Does it Leak? He has said two times it does not register on the TPMS as leaking. Maybe just pull the sucker out and see if it leaks, but make sure you have a plug ready. If it leaks plug it and go get a new tire.

@raybay98 you might get lucky, those tires are thick skinned and if the angle of penetration is sideways and not to long it may not even leak after removing it. :fingerscrossed:

I’ve considered this option as I have the mount above my radio from them. Just looking for options. Thanks!

Been using the Motivx kit for several oil changes and it's certainly been a worthy purchase. One thing I did was cut about 1/3 of the drain tube off. It was just too long and kept getting tangled up and was just laying in the drain pan. Shortening it up pretty much took care of it. As for your question, I've been running the Havoline lifelong oil from Walmart. It comes in a plastic bag within a cardboard box but is super simple to use. The best part is it's a 6qt container, which is perfect for these Tacomas. Less expensive than buying 5 + 1 more.

I had a very similar puncture on an original all terrain and the nail curved inside the tire and got into the sidewall. It also didn’t leak and I didn’t seem to have any issues, but the sidewall was compromised. Maybe swap with the spare and use this as the get out of the woods spare?

Depends on the location. The flag should always be displayed with the stars seen in the upper left from the viewers standpoint. Unless it’s on the side…then the stars should be up and forward. On the right side of the vehicle it will look backwards. The flag should always be “charging” forward.

Some earlier posts in this thread reminded me I've been meaning to paint the glove box lock cylinder.

Adding to this, the vehicle direction matters. The flag should look like it is "flying free" based on direction of vehicle travel with a flag pole on the Star side of the flag. It does make people think the passenger side flag looks "wrong" but it is not...
