Heavy duty rear springs -- will they sit level with 5100/OME2280 front coilers?

    Hi,
got a '96 4WD extracab, needs all new springs and shocks.
I have ordered the "heavy duty" leaf springs from autoandtrucksprings.com, I believe they're the same as the General Spring, 90-173HD. -- incidentally they are very helpful on the phone.
I'm told they'll settle in to approx a 1.5" lift over stock, with no additional exhaust hanger, brake-line extension required.
Now, I'm looking to get a nice level ride --> unfortunately finding something that will fit the bill is proving rather hard. Wheeler's doesn't seem to want to provide me with anything less than a 2" lift. If I get OME 2880 springs and Bilstein 5100's, am I able to adjust those so that I don't have a sloped backward truck? Am I overthinking this? I have a strong preference for buying pre-assembled coilovers!
    Affordable suggestions welcome!
    Thanks!

This question is asked a ton; quick search will yield results but yes Bilstein 5100's have different perch settings.

As for your leaf pack, OME doesn't offer a medium or heavy duty pack. Do you mean you purchased the OME pack with an add-a-leaf? I'll let others chime in but 1995.5 - 1997 OME packs provide more than advertised height so you might find yourself removing a leaf or two (very common).

Rear leaf pack is NOT OME, is basically the same as what you’d get from General Spring, but the Heavy Duty leaf pack which seems to settle in to an approx 1.5” lift above stock. I’m aware the 5100’s are adjustable but are they adjustable to 1.5” WITH the OME 2880 coils? I promise I searched, but I am getting conflicting product information about the coilover from diff retailers. Thank you sorry if I worded that wrong or am missing an obvious thread about who’s selling 1.5”ish coilovers!

Thanks for the correction, I was under the impression you got an OME leaf pack as well since you compared them to General Springs.

Which coilovers are you looking at, part number?

I recall one having 3 settings and another having 4...think one replaced the other?

    On LowRange/ Wheeler’s, the SKU is TAC-SP-BO1G-2880-2 , which is the 5100 shocks with OME2880s. They claim it’s a 2” lift. https://lowrangeoffroad.com/1st-gen-tacoma-bilstein-5100-series-with-old-man-emu-springs.html

However other websites with as far as I can tell the same assembly say that the 2880s are good for 1.5” of lift. https://www.1stgenoffroad.com/store/p838/Bilstein5100OME2.5-3Lift.html#/

    https://www.suspensionlifts.com/shop/toyota-4runner/1996-2002/front-lifts-and-coilovers-96-02-toyota-4runner/bilstein-5100-1-5-3-inch-lift-assembled-coilovers-for-1996-2002-toyota-4runner

I guess .5” isn’t that much! But I just don’t want the truck to end up tipped backwards and awkward looking. Is there anywhere that offers assembled coilovers more suited to the Goldilocks zone or should I just go for the 2880s on lowest clip and assume it’ll be fine ? Def 5100s for rear shocks, that seems simple.
