powder coating on top of anodizing?

    I have some 4 foot extruded aluminum rails that I want to be white. Can I powder coat them without stripping the anodizing off? The ends have exposed metal so I can attach the ground there.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
    You can but would be better to media blast the material to roughen it up for improved adhesion.

    note that anodize is simply an oxide layer on the aluminum, titanium, etc that reflects different wavelengths of light hence the colors. It’s not an additive process.
