Nice! I actually just got my SmartCap installed this week at TEQ! We have a super anxious GSD puppy and I was shopping for a cap to make her a little "den" while at camp hoping it would help her. The guys at TEQ got me hooked up with a SmartCap in about a week! Sad to see the bed rack go though.

 

It looks like 4 Wheel Parts on Glenwood has changed names or bought out by Total Off-road & More. Any body been there since it changed?

 

Anybody ever seen standing water trapped in the rear body mount bolt access holes? Ever since I have owned the truck I have intermittently heard water sloshing around while turning and could never figure out where it was. This weekend I replaced my body mounts and found standing water in the 2 access ports in the back corners of the access cab. I'm assuming there is some drain thats plugged up or something causing this. I almost drilled 2 tiny holes next to the bolt on both sides to allow it to drain but figured I should at least entertain the idea of fixing it properly first.

 

Another HUGE!!!! shout out to TEQ Customs in Raleigh. They were able to secure one of the few remaining Inspired Overland tents (they have a demo in the shop). And TEQ let me ship my RSI SmartCap direct from Offroad Alliance (shout out to OA's Cody who handled the ordering). I heard "the waiting's the hardest part"... but only a month so not bad.

I have the Tacoma-specific brackets, bezels, and wiring for Diode Dynamics SS3 LED Pods with the backlight wiring. Wiring and hardware is all new; brackets/bezels were installed for a few weeks and look new (no dings, scrapes, etc.). Save some coin by picking up bare SS3 pods and use this to mount/wire to your Taco. $65 cash or Paypal, located in the RDU area. Please PM if interested.

I was in there as they were transitioning and then again about 3 weeks ago. They have have a few isles with products. Where I think they really shine is the folks behind the counter. They are friendly and efficient. Just based on the their counter service, I would bring my truck in there for work. Unfortunately, i am all the way in Hillsbilly and it's a bit of a truck to get there. <<<<<==== see what I did there. Pun intended.

 

From what they told me on the phone they sold last June, and it sounds like Total Offroad just bought the building. The people and inventory stayed with the building. They could not get me the ARB/OME replacment parts I was looking for.

FYI - Line-x of Raleigh does spray on work (919-855-000). Likely cost is about $650 (yeah, I know I can MacGuber this myself for $100 bux in spray, but I want it done right and I'm swamped). Shout out to Auto Body Xperts on Louisburg Rd who gave the referral to Line-X.

Just got the vehicle back from Line-X Raleigh. Quality work and didn't overcharge. $500. Well worth it and highly recommend!
