So recently I had issues with my daytime running lamps not workin. I bought a pair of aftermarket taillights from off eBay for like 40 bucks and I try to wire up my 3rd light on my Lear camper Shell when they just stopped working and I've taken the leer off so I'm not trying to wire that up anymore taillights are back to stock and still they are not working They were working just fine before I installed those aftermarket tail lights. Yeah I'm not sure what happened or anybody knows her been through this any information would be much appreciated..

 Rear DRL is not a thing.

Daytime Running Lights on the 1st gens are just the low beam head light.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
You now have no Tail lights ?

Have you checked the fuse and the tail light relay ?

Perhaps when working with your new lights you caused a fuse to open or when wiring up the cap.

Daytime running lights are exclusive to the headlight low beam circuit.

In neutral, with the light selector switch off, if your truck is equipped with DRL, only the headlights should be on.

Here are the relevant pages from the owners manual:

So I'm not sure I guess it's on the daytime running lights. What I mean is that at night time. The only time I have lights on in the back or when I press the brake. I'm pretty sure there should be some lights on that are consistent besides the brake lights am I wrong?

Did you read the pages from the owners manual? It's pretty clear (you can download a pdf copy of your owners manual here: https://www.toyota.com/owners/resources/warranty-owners-manuals)

The tail lights (the "less intense" red light in the rear housing, light b below) should be on when the light selector switch is in position 1 (parking lights) and position 2 (headlights).
    upload_2023-4-28_8-23-4.jpg

If light b is not on when the light selector switch is in position 1 or 2:

Check the 10amp fuse in the main fuse block in the engine bay
    Check the tail relay
Inspect the wiring itself, looking for any damage to the wiring
Inspect / remove any trailer harness kits (they are known issues to lighting systems)

I also suggest you search for "1st gen Tacoma FSM" and download the pdf version (you can also buy the same thing from RockAuto on CD). It contains the wiring diagrams and additional information on diagnosing these circuits.

Bottom line though, you need to make sure you understand what you're trying to troubleshoot. Your tail lights are not connected to the DRL circuit, and should not be on unless your turn the switch to do so.
