Help?! Do I have a missing wheel well liner or something else?

    I tried using the search bar and can't find what I'm looking for.. I have a 2022 lunar rock taco trd OR, everything is stock. I have a very noob question that can give me a peace of mind. I feel like a wheel well liner might be missing possibly or something else on my front driver side wheel well. May some please help me confirm that this isn't the case please?

    On the driver side it looks like there's something that's suppose to be their. If not what is the purpose of those and why doesn't the passenger side have it?

    Just confuse since the passenger side looks different then the driver side because it has this thing that the driver side doesn't have.
