I think I was dealing with an entitled teenager so that doesn’t help.

I haven't had to deal with them outside of the ER.....so I'm calling that a win
It sucks to be that way b/c there are times I need things to be held.......but it is what it is and I understand why people don't do it.

    Yup.

I've unfortunately sold out quite a few items from under people who were taking too long to make a decision but weren't willing put a deposit down or anything. Someone else would pop up ready to buy, so they got it. Only times I'll hold an item is if it's for a friend, and I don't urgently need to sell it.

I've had so much "interest" in a custom sub enclosure for an F250 I used to have, just apparently not enough for them to actually show up to get it. :annoyed: At this point I'm about to cut it up with a saw.

I gotta say it’s kinda nice that this thread moves decently fast these days that I can barely keep up. Tons more people in here and I love it.

@spencermarkd I was reading the reviews on the noco battery and people were having issues of it going bad on them. Tempted to just get a agm battery at batteries+ for $46

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a higher out-of-the-box failure rate than an AGM or standard lead acid battery, theres just more going on inside to go wrong. I'd also say that I bet a lot of the issues of it going bad are people with bad electrical systems that are giving it a too-low or too-high voltage. IIRC sweet spot is 13.5-14.1, any higher and it'll fry it where an AGM or lead acid would just tough it out or boil if it wasn't sealed. Like on my CB750 before I put one on there I did a lot of testing to make sure that the 40something year old charging system wasn't going to fry it. The nicest part for me is just not having to worry about it if I don't ride it for a while. The like 1%/week self discharge rate is phenomenal. I don't have to tender my bikes over the winter at all if I didn't want to.

Definitely wouldn't blame you though, I almost didn't buy it, had it on my Amazon list for a couple months before I pulled the trigger after a few beers one night. Like I said before it's a pound or two weight savings, but it's not like a grom is a high performance machine where every pound is absolutely critical and you're chasing grams of weight savings.

It is a 2023 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager 1700. I traded my 2004 Honda VTX1300c in on it.

    I am loving it.

Have put about 2000 miles on it in the last 6 weeks and have zero complaints.

That's sweet! Very classy, and sounds like it runs great if you're laying down miles like that.

It does. I test road a few of them over the years and finally decided it was time.

Going to take it to the Smokies this fall and ride the dragon.

Here is me on the Dragon riding my VTX. I loved that bike for sure but am quickly seeing that this bike is more suitable for my needs.

Bikes and trucks. Funny enough, I took this picture because one of my coworker was always asking about my bike and had never seen it.

I do, it’s the only switchblade key I own and I like playing with it. Also harder to lose.
