new tacoma buyer

so i just bought a 2023 trail edition any thoughts on this? is the trail edition for suckers or did i get a good truck?

I’m just wondering about this forums thoughts on these.
Im straight with it. But I guarantee I over paid. It was available and I wanted a tacomo.
Seems a little under powered and shifting is strange to me. But I guess that’s a thing with these yes?

Another thought then with breaking this motor in.
Just getting up jumping on the highway running it between 70 and 78 30 minutes to work and then back same way outta break it n proper huh?

Upper left, click on forums, then click on 3rd gen Tacomas. All the threads will be there, with the newer or recently posted ones popping up first. In the upper right is the magnifying glass icon, the search function, from there you can specify whatever it is you’re looking for. Spend some time navigating the site and familiarizing yourself with all the different site functions. We’re mostly friendly here, a few smart ass’ and one or two trolls, but mostly good people. Ask a question and you’ll get an answer but the more due diligence that your question displays, the more fined tuned your answer will be.

I got the same truck and love it! As for the throttle response and shifting, you might look into getting a tune. OTT costs about $400 and it is night and day. Do a Youtube search for Tacoma OTT Tune and judge for yourself.
