I am just kidding, though I am jelly.

I've got two spots to hunt, but both of them require a 0430 wake-up time.:bored:

I hate morning hunting, I only morning hunt during the rut otherwise it’s afternoon and evening hunting.

Are you human? o_O I'd cry, I think the earliest I woke up was maybe 3:45, 4:00, but I agree with Buckhuntin the afternoon and evening hunting are significantly higher in my favorite time to hunt list. Then again, I am not a morning person to begin with.

Come November 1st I’m so wired when I hit the rack I can hardly sleep. There’s something about knowing you’re gonna see big bucks that morning. Makes it easy when the alarm sounds off at 4:00am.

My two best bucks came when I was running late. 2012 planned on hunting a stand in a sweet little bottle neck deep in the woods. Got there bout an hour before shooting time, I’m 200 yards or so into the woods and I find out the resident asshole pulled my tacks. Fumble around for a bit, head to the other end of the farm, 3/8 mile walk up my favorite road to nowhere, head up the hill, all set 1/2 hour after sunrise. Sweaty, grumpy, pretty much hating the world, huge six (saw him week before) comes in and gives me a 15 yard shot.

2020, second to last day, I’m running way behind courtesy of a stomach virus. Same place as 2012, spotted a nice 8 bedded at the top of the hill. Circled around, came in downwind and shot him in his bed at 13 yards.

    I like mornings!
