I got a good deal too, Firestone Destination take offs with 200 miles.

    The original Toyos went 41K.

You got bigger cajones than I do. I start replacing tires around 1/2 tread. Although my truck sees winter, yours does not...

I don't like to go that far, tires were hard to get last year. I ordered them and waited two months...

Stumbled onto the take offs on Marketplace only about 35 miles from home. :)

Took me most of a day and a whole roll of blue painter tape to mount them without beating up the wheels, these 17" jobs are heavy... :bananadead:

Had a call from my daughters boss and she said they had bees in a bird house, and wanted me to get them. Said how big could it be, got my stuff together and went it was a big bird house and full of bees took the house down loaded it in the truck and took them home IMG_6218.jpgIMG_6217.jpgIMG_6221.jpgthe bird house has seen better days

The neighbor behind the garage has bees, I peek around the corner occasionally but won't go back there all season.

Good morning guys. Nothing important to do today so I’m goofing off. Thinking I’m going to improve the house wiring in the truck, or at least start on it.

    That’s a lot of bees

They just looked low on the picture with the screw embedded in the tire. I mean, looks low to me might look new to someone else...

I am like you I replace tires others would run for many miles.

They get then used as spares .

Running all 15" tires on the Toyota`s it is easy swapping things around.

I've kinda wanted to get honey bees for a while, but I've been reluctant to commit to it. Videos on YT make it look easy, but I think the reality would be much different.

The Toyota tires wore quite evenly and stayed quiet, I rotate them ... ...Occasionally...
Still on the factory alignment too.

Just about all of my driving is on pavement.

the rear locations are always what mess it up for me.

oem's always base their pressures on specific load expectations, but then i drive the truck half the time without anything in the bed.

my old ranger was 32 psi all around, i ended up running the backs closer to 20 to try to balance out the tread, otherwise they always got striped down the middle.

29 - 30 all around seems to work good for the Tacoma, I rarely have anything heavy in the bed.
