    Hi All,
Have a 2019 V6 Sr5 4x4 and about time for new tires. Located in the northeast so looking for suggestions for something that is good in snow/ice/mud that also gives a comfortable highway ride. Gonna be doing a fair bit of towing as well so something to take into account. Something potentially with a bit more profile then the stock tires that came on the truck. I'm okay with taking a bit of a hit mpg wise.
    Thanks

255/80-17’s. About as big you can get without modifying. Cooper ST Maxx.

Sounds like you're looking to keep stock wheels so I'd say either 265/70/16 or 265/75/16 so you can do it without any clearance issues. I've had Cooper Discoverer AT3's, Falken Wildpeaks, and Cooper Rugged Treks on my last 3 trucks respectively. The AT3 was very quiet and OK in the snow but not great. The Falkens were a bit noisier but notably better in the snow, and the Rugged Treks were the noisiest of the 3 but the best in what little snow we got in my part of NY this year. The nice thing about the Coopers is they're made in the USA and that factors into my decision.

@03sr5Tacoma your vehicle lists a 17 or 16 tire size. I would agree with @superwhite18 on the Michelin Defender LTX M/S, it comes in both sizes so either a 265/75R-16 or a 265/70R-17 both are taller than factory but will work without a lift. You can't beat the ride quality. It will tow as much as your truck is rated for and it does well for traction in rough weather.

Yeah I ran studded duratracs this winter too. We had a record breaking snowfall this winter and they were amazing, especially since I commute to work
