Looking to swap out my fuel pump. Looking at prices and items on different sites, I’m confused if the pump comes with the actual sending unit and if it’s worth replacing the entire sending unit or not. No issues with either just with the bed off and 180k on the originals curious if I need to replace or not.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
In many cases the sending unit is separate from the fuel tank bracket which does not come with the fuel pump bracket. On new parts,

Many times the fuel pump bracket is broke in the course of removing the fuel lines and pump.

I have replaced the bracket with the pump after learning that lesson.
