2023 TRD Sport DC Rear Bumper Alignment

Hello everyone new here. I recently bought a 23 TRD Sport 4X4 and have some issues with the truck. It was on a 30 day Random QC hold and I should have cancelled the order when that happened. The salesman assured me it would be perfect. I have found the following issues.
1. Rear bumper alignment
2. Rear passenger door alignment
3. Small dent left fender near hood hinge
4. Pinch weld looks like a kid did the spot welds
Why did all this not get addressed during the random QC hold?

Has anyone else experienced this? See pictures of rear bumper.

You know. I noticed something like this on my 2022 TRD OR and just went out to double check. My right side has it too compared to the left

 

Yes chico47 your bumper looks very similar to mine. I took my truck to the dealer and they are going to pull the bumper off and inspect everything before trying to align it properly. The technician that looked at it seems to think the problem is the hitch possibly bent or not installed correctly. My truck was built at the Baja plant may I ask where your truck was built?

 

Built in Baja too I believe. I got it almost a year ago so I doubt they’ll do anything

 

If you are under 36,000 miles it would be worth a try.

 

Yeah I’m at 7,800. I’ll check it out

Update: took my truck to the dealer and not just the bumper but the bed was also out of alignment. I am very happy now that it has been corrected! Please see picture for the results. I recommend anyone with bumper alignment issues to see there dealer because the problem is a well known issue with Tacoma beds and bumpers.

The actual repair took 2 hours but they had to replace the black plastic step cap which didn’t come in until the next morning so they kept my truck overnight.

 

All covered under warranty!

 

Sweet so not long. I’ll bring that up to them!
