    Hello, guys

I just rebuilt the front suspension of my 2007 Tacoma. I replaced Upper Control Arms with Ball Joint, Low Control Arms with Ball Joint, Inner and Outer Tie Rods, Stabilizer Bar Bushings, Hub Wheel Bearings, Struts and Stabilizer Bar Links. I did all of the labor myself and it took me a day and a half with the help of YouTube videos.

After replacing everything, I went to Firestone for a wheel alignment and everything came back to where it was supposed to be.

A day later, I crawled underneath my car just to double check and I found out that the camber bolt washers for the lower control arms misaligned a bit on both left and right. As I remember that I tightened these straight-up positions in the center, and my guess is whenever they did the alignment, they were so lazy trying to center the washers.

Is this fine to leave it like that or take it back there for them to redo it? (I bought a lifetime alignment package btw). Here are a few pictures.

Off topic but what’s the point of greasable tie rod boots if the old grease has nowhere to go?

Well, I'm not a mechanic but I saw other people say greaseable will make parts last longer by forcing old grease out. I haven't tried it yet so idk how it works. But it doesn't hurt to put a few in the car since they are not that expensive when compared to the non-greaseable ones.

Those washer as you call them are part of the cams that are used for alignment. Those washer pushes against the flats of the two bosses you see next to them to adjust both your camber and caster. Did you receive a printout of the before and after alignment numbers? If the numbers look good and it drives good then you are all good.

Normally the greasable parts have a needle sized hole somewhere around the boot so that the old grease can escape.

Yes, they gave me a handout showing all the numbers and stuff that was green. If you say so, then I guess I'm all good though.

The shop wasn’t lazy that’s how they move when you adjust them so I’d mark them with a paint pen and make sure your alignment numbers are good. Double check the torque on the bolts so they don’t move, I believe they are around 115 ft lbs.

Does any aftermarket make an assortment of "offset square" caster/camber washers? Once caster/camber is set the (slipable) round washer is replaced with an appropriate offset (non spinning) square one. My 67 Mustang (most old Fords) have this lower arm design.
