Help me identify this ticking noise

    I need help to identify this noise. It only happens in drive/reverse. And not in neutral/park. However if you are in park and rev it, it will tick only in the 1000-1300 rpm range. Could this just be loud lifter tick? And maybe I need to adjust the valves? It has 217000 miles and oil change done on the last 300 miles.

    Someone smarter than me will know best but it sounds like a cracked flex plate to me, especially since it is noisiest in gear

    Not smarter lol but do agree it sounds like it could be the plate.

    In the second video, he pulls the plate and is able to actually see a potential crack. I'd do that before anything else. May not be able to see it but worth a shot.
