How Much weight before i add a Leaf

While looking around and checking PN's on Sumosprings i found 2 PN one is SSR-612-40 and the other is

$282 SSR-610-40 | SumoSprings Rear for Toyota Tundra, Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, Nissan Titan

SSR-610-40 and from what i can gather is
that the SSR-610-40 is for 4x2 Prerunner and it supports 1000 lb at 50 %. So the SSR-612-40 is for the Tacoma 4X4 and it supports
1400 lb at 50%. guess what im asking is that any of you folks running the SSR-610-40 on your Tacoma 4X4, and is there anyone
running the SSR-612-40 also which supports 1400 and is one taller than the other. Im calling Super Springs International tomorrow
and ask some questions about the two of these and if its just a density difference and not height i might try the 1400 lb. Just thought
I would run this by you folks and get your opinion.

I really don't care what the rated payload is, I simply noticed that it is lacking. I'll still put 1500lbs in it to do what I need it do because it still gets twice the mileage of my 3/4 ton GM...which is reserved for 2000lb+ loads....it regularly sees 2 pallets of iron brake rotors at a time...does just fine.

 

More to consider: the entire vehicle is designed for a max weight: bearings, brakes, tire pressure/weight rating, … So, when you think of exceeding the designed payload (as mentioned: passengers and cargo), you exceed the design limits of all components.
Plus the performance of the parts is not as designed, e.g. extended break distance when overweight, tire temperature in operation may rise, …
The sicker on the car is one indicator. The manual states that exceeding the weight limits is unsafe (legal cma).
Overweight- can the Taco do it? Certainly! Is it safe? Toyota says no. By that-is it legal? Probably not.
A lot more to consider than just the leafs…
