Yes, get three across and you can store all sorts of stuff without it rolling around back there. Pretty darn cheap as I recall. Got these at Home Depot.

 

I think they have one for third gen that mounts in the front not sure about the back but if you have a trailer hitch you can get something to hook up there.

Continuing with the chrome-delete... Stuck some Lamin-x vinyl over the front emblem. If the weather holds out I'll be painting the chrome grill surround and rear bumper pieces this weekend. I've decided on keeping the stock grill versus defaulting to the TRD pro grill.

 

Like a pair of furry little nuts you see when a cat is walking away from you....lol

 

Im going to try this. I can strap it to the very back, didnt want a lid.
I have a truck bed camper, so its always covered.
But i do like the other suggestions and will try this if i end up not liking this.

 

Just updated my mounting yesterday too - thanks again @CreoUCLA for the Rago mounts! I fixed Sherpa's brackets to Rago's bed rail solution and it worked out perfectly! Also upgraded to MKII.

 

For 150 on ebay you can get a used oem pro grill and toss the old grill and the ugly chrome strip goes away as well, no need to paint it then.

 

Yeah I've seen a few there and other websites, but I wanted to do something not as common for now. I may get one eventually, but I'm gonna have the paint for the bumper pieces and my cap so I figure why not?

i got a foldable milk crate from BJs Wholesale. I fold it and store it in back of my rear seat when not in use. i dont like having anything clunking in my bed
