My First Tacoma

    06 Silver PreRunner
    The goal is to make it as nice as a 2023 one
    Hi there, Chris from Florida here,

    I just recently got a new to me 06 Silver PreRunner with 210K miles. Rust free!! Not thinking of lifting it or any radical mods. The goal is to make it as nice as a 2023 one or close to it. :rofl:

    Here's what I've done to it so far
    • Gen 3 TRD Sport 17" Wheels
    • Ebay Sport package headlights
    • RockAuto - Rotors & Pads kit & spray painted the calipers in black
    • Replaced the A/C Blower resistor plug and wires since it only worked on speed 4.
    • Amazon Black A/C knobs
    Next:
    • Figure out an oil leak (probably the valve cover gaskets...)
    • New head unit. It has a touchscreen pioneer but looks pretty old and dated and I can't figure out how to set up the bluetooth or anything on it.
    • Oil Change and keep up with maintenance...

    make it stand out, since its an old gen, I would get rid of those chrome Tacoma badge and ETC go black on all of it....
    I would also ditch the window visors and buy new one, some in channels weather techs are nice it also looks more flush with the truck.
