want cd want aux

I am not sure what stereo parts I got from the factory (2023 trd). I see "gracenote" on there but no "JBL", is that "premium" but below "JBL"? Cannot keep all the trim levels and options straight on these trucks

In any case, the important part is that I would love to have a CD and/or aux jack. Got none of that now, at least not that I can see. Any hope of wiring something up, or am I looking at a whole head unit replacement?

 

There are two audio packages, JBL and non-JBL. Gracenote is just metadata service for song titles.

USB is the new CD player, and Carplay is the new AUX. It’s going to be much less hassle and expense to rip your CDs onto a USB stick, and use Carplay to play music from your phone than it will be to add those to your truck.

 

Roger that, thanks for the response. What is the telltale sign of the JBL package? I imagine it would be branded out the wazoo and impossible to miss.

 

None of the Toyota options have an SD card slot, right? Miss that from the Audi.

 

Should say jbl on the outside of the door speakers guard along with a jbl somewhere on the stereo.
