    Hi,

    I have a 3rd Gen 2017 4WD Double Cab.

My tire pressure monitoring system is freaking out. Under 40mph the display constantly flashes the “signals” from the 4 tires. Three of them alternate between pressures of something silly like 160psi and 3.3psi. The fourth, right rear, doesn’t indicate any pressure at all. There is no hiding this screen. Attempt to move to another screen just results in returning to the huge flashing “data” indicated above. Oddly enough over 40mph the screen is normal other than the small tpms symbol.

I’m guessing one of the sensors is either bad or the battery has gone out.

    Anyone familiar with this behavior?

And, the actual tire pressures are just fine 32psi all around.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

Also, might try disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes, reconnect and then do a TPMS reset.

    Just to follow up...

I've been out the country the last 5 months and prior to leaving didn't have a chance to mess with TPMS. Got back a couple of days ago.

I did a reset, ign switch turned to run and held the TPMS reset button for 10 seconds. All appears back to normal.

I have no idea why it freaked out to start with other than it was in the autobody shop for nearly a month. Maybe something about the sensors got confused? They disconnected the battery while working on the truck. No idea.

    Thanks all for your ideas.
