It's almost Friday, so which is it? Oil, tires, or TPMS? TPMS it is.

I have a 2021 with 23,737 miles on on odometer. I ruined a tire and mounted the spare last a couple weeks ago. TPMS light came on. I reset it once, but it stayed on. I found a deal on 4 practically new tires from @TRDRed. Went to Discount Tire today to have the new rubber mounted on the original wheels and original sensors. Shop said I would need to reset--yep, done that before on the 2010 Tacoma and my wife's Highlander, and the kids' Corolla.

Followed the routine. Ignition to on position. Hit the button by your knee. No joy. Light blinks and goes solid. I tried holding the button for 60 seconds. No joy.

I checked the spare and the new tires. Everything is up to snuff. I'm using the original wheels and sensors. They worked until 2 weeks ago. Am I missing something?

(BTW, 0W20 syn every 5000 miles and I otherwise run Cooper AT3s at 35-40 psi. :))

More than likely your gonna have to get them all reprogrammed, I just got new tires and sensors. And the tire shop told me to test drive it down the road and no light. Then after about a 45 min drive I got the flashing light , did the reset like you did and didn't work. So I took it back and they had to program according to my VIN .

@ixnay thank you for your business, we appreciate your support. I would recommend going back to the store and let them use the Bartac TPMS scan tool to reset the sensors.
