Yep. I really don’t tow anything ever, so tucking it way up out of the way is the best option I think.

The OG 7 pin was damaged like they all are, so I took that as an excuse to upgrade it to a 7/4 pin combo.

threw in some 5160s I got for free that weren’t blown, should hold me over until I can get some king 2.5 EXT shocks.
After today everything will have been replaced and have less than 50 miles on it. After 235k miles of jumping and being a monster it should be nice to drive again

kb voodoo tops installed. i'm on a roll! more to come still...

they are still not shipping enough foam tape with this product, had to use some of my own. lmao. what a stupid thing to go cheap on.

and yeah the powdercoat looks pretty thin. fully expecting to paint these things within a year.

otherwise shape, fit, finish is really good. protip: sit your ass down on the tailgate top to get it to mount properly.

Any chance you have a link to the 7/4 harness?
Did it come with a bracket, or did you make it?

Coming home today I found the lower catalytic converter heat shield in the middle of my 2600 ft driveway, must have come off when I left earlier and then lost the upper somewhere down the road... Oh well, one less part to rust and rattle.

Updating the interior, added a few of KFLo's items, the overhead works very well and gives a lot of flexibility for mounting items. Dash mount rail was perfect for my mounting my Garmin Overland GPS.

    Just some stuff...
65671-04050 Pretty sure this is it. I ordered one from Amazon a couple of years ago. Perfect fit with no issues. Make sure you soak it with some kind of lubricant for a day or two. Those bolts can get plenty rusted under there!

after 2 years of sitting, I replaced every piece of the suspension, turned my rear bumper into a high clearance bumper, regeared + lockers, new roof rack, found a used bumper from pelfreybilt. Spent days installing, welding, and cleaning.

last night less than an hour after getting insurance on it.. car crash with a motorcycle.

No, the people on the motorcycle had to be moved by ambulance and then one air lifted (or so I heard). they were not wearing any gear and afterwards I only saw one helmet on the ground. I’ve been struggling with it as it was a horrible thing to see. And I hope they end up being okay even though it was a stolen motorcycle, possible DUI, driving with no lights in a rural area.
I am not 100% sure but I think they ran a stop sign coming out of a camp ground.

the truck is least of my concerns but the steering rack is totally blown and does not hold fluid, tie rod is destroyed. I was just on a test drive and did not have the 2 lowest bolts for the pelfreybilt bumper we’re not installed so it got pushed upwards. Broke both headlights and pushed the driver headlight into the fender causing a bend. Luckily the frame appears to have no bends but it’s gonna be a while before it’s back.
