Factory plugs came out super ez and don't look toasted, glad I got it done. I did not use antiseize on install because I'm never leaving plugs in any engine long enough for them to seize.

Only pain was having to stand on a folding chair to do it all. This is one of those times when the 6ft of extensions in your toolbox come in handy.

Good deal, been watching a few youtube vids on how to best tackle the job w minimal removal of stuff lol. I’ll just set aside a few hours on a nicer weekend.

Weather around these parts is hit or miss one good day vs 3-4 rainy ones.

Inspected my cv boots. With wheel raised, spun tire, boot makes noise. Weird. It looks to squished togeter.

Has anyone found a good rubber conditioner to extend boot life?

That’s because you have truck in the air and suspension fully extended.

"Oil Drop" how-to video is good, but you don't even need to worry about that back bracket on the drivers side and it's a pain to get to anyway. Sure it's harder to get that foam thing back in when you're done, but just manhandle it in there. He also leaves the driver O2 clipped in place after disconnecting, I removed it to open the area (90 degree needlenose or hose clamp pliers, clips in underneath). I'm not the fastest at anything, but if I wasn't cleaning/inspecting stuff along the way it would have took me about 1.5ish hrs. AllData says removal/replacement is 3 hours of labor...glad I'm not paying for that. I did break 1 clip holding the big 2 hoses up top near the firewall because you have to push them aside and I didn't realize that clip was getting pressure so you may want to pop that clip open if you find yourself fighting with those hoses since the clamps are in right where your hand needs to be and will snag on gloves. The shroud covers it so, couple zip ties and fuggetaboutit.

Do the drivers side first and the rest is cake.

Replaced my plugs at 83,000 yesterday and the drivers side was a PITA and if it weren't for my 3ft extension and a knuckle adapter I probably would have left it. But used an extension 5/8 magnetic spark plug socket from Amazon and it wasn't to bad.

Put on spare tire today. Sidewall damage finally leaked on my aftermarket tire. Got a used Sumitomo AT replacement coming. Hoping to get 2 more years out of this set before I drop 1k on new set of 4.
