Gentlemen, I have a 95 reg cab 2.7L 4x4. I’m needing to replace the shocks, but after reading some of the threads on this site, I might want to go with an aftermarket that’ll add possibly 2” ride height.
That being said, I like the stock height, a little more might be cool too. I’ve got the coil overs in the front, leaf springs in the back.
Asking for recommendations. It’s an everyday driver right now. Thanks in advance.

    So...what exactly do you want?

These trucks already have coilovers from the factory. That's what a coil on shock assembly is.

Do you want to keep it at stock height then? Or lift it? You'll get different suggestions either way.

And really, there are new threads on this every other day you can easily scroll through but I'll give you the benefit of a doubt that you searched.

    Bilstein 4600s for stock.

Bilstein 5100 or OME Nitrochargers with appropriate coils for a minor lift; OME 88x are what you want but that all depends on your weight up front.

OME Dakar leaf pack for the rear.

You've got Deaver and Alcan as well for a much higher quality leaf pack for the rear; can order custom as needed but for more money.

Then you could step up to larger shock bodies such as 2.0's or even larger like 2.5's from King, Fox, Icon, ADS, Bilstein (forget their version).

I’ve been looking online at these parts separately. Do you know of a site that sells these parts as a kit? Instead of ordering from 4 different venders.

Let's go back to your initial question; lift or no lift?

    Budget?

You can easily narrow down vendors and pricing by figuring out first what you're going to buy.

Please do a little research, it's all out there.

@Kwikvette brother I appreciate your reply’s but you don’t have to.
Looking for a small lift, up to two inches.
Ive been looking at the 880, 881 or 882 OME coils. I don’t think the 880 will give me the additional ride height I want with the 5100 bilsteins. I’ve seen several articles on the 3.4L x cab, but nothing on the 2.7L reg cab 4x4. I want the weight of the vehicle on the coils, not the shocks. I’m going to assume there’s a weight difference in the 2.7L and the 3.4L.
Also, I’m seeing some people swapping the rear leafs out completely. I was considering “add-a-leaf. Seams more convenient.

It always will be. Springs carry the weight, dampers (shocks) control the motion of the spring.

There's a slight difference in weight, but not overly noticeable.

    I'd opt for 881's on 5100's versus preloading the 5100's with 880's.

As for swapping the leaf pack out, it's really easy just requires a few jackstands. If your leaf pack is original to the vehicle, it's long overdue anyway and doing the AAL is just a band-aid fix.

And as mentioned above, shocks do not support the weight of a vehicle. That's why coils/leaf pack are used.
