I recently picked up a 94 single cab 4x4 and im considering 30/9.5r15 bc they're lighter, cheaper, and aesthetically I tend to gravitate towards tall and skinny.

thoughts or insights appreciated... but ESPECIALLY PICTURES

What gear ratio is in your truck? I had worn out 31x10.5s and went down to the 235/75. I like them alot more because I have 3.58 gears, now the shifting is so much smoother and I can actually pretend like it can accelerate from a stop20230429_130645.jpg

Now I'm ready to crawl all the malls

Haha. Stock gears, with no interest in changing that. The 31s seem like overkill for the errand truck this is becoming… and I do live in an area with expensive gas and lots of hills. However, I’m curious about the 30/9.5s because the weight difference doesn’t seem like as much of a factor… 3-5llbs depending on brand. But does seem like some lighter 235s will allow me to use gears 3-5. I like having access to more than 2 gears.
