Got the JBA upper control arms on today. I had done some cheap-o ones a little over a year ago so it was real easy, nothing terribly rusted. Shit even the knuckle came off the ball joint with only a few mallet taps.

Quick ride around the neighborhood to check for weird sounds and I can already tell there’s a huge improvement with the extra caster. We’re doing a road trip in a couple weeks and i’m really looking forward to not having to fight to stay straight anymore.

 

Oh, I also changed the oil real quick. The bolt was only on finger tight, but no leaks, which was a terrifying discovery and I realized I only put 3500 miles on the 4runner in the last year. Yikes.
