Debating on opening up my LED housings to black out the chrome and possibly add RGB.

How is resealing? Pulling the old sealant on the halogen housings is awful and in reality my major holdup.

Please tell me the LED housings are easier to clean up, or that I can just slap it back together without pulling the old sealant....please....
