I have a 2nd Gen Tacoma with a 6" DB lift done by the previous owner (yeah, I know, everyone hates them but don't troll me bros, it looks sweet). They didn't change the stock struts, they just added a spacer at the top and it rides like crap. I'd like to replace them with some coilovers.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably-priced coilover? I don't do much off-roading, my goal is a smoother ride and not spending a fortune on them.

4wheelparts near me recommended these Rough Country Vertex 2.5's

But everyone keeps saying Fox, King, or Bilstein.

I just installed a custom tuned set of fox 2.5s from accutune. They’re adjustable from 4-6” of lift. I had lots of help from forum members here answering my questions. I would highly recommend going this route the ride is amazing. I was just under $2k for front coilovers and waited about 8 months but this was the best option for me especially for lots of off-roading. I can’t recommend accutune enough amazing customer service.
