Actually, the inside was in surprisingly good condition and didn't smell bad at all. It has no catalytic converter anymore, and the A/C compressor is gone, but it runs great and everything (with the obvious exception of the A/C) works!

And seriously, remember the picture I took inside the Toyota camper that you said smelled like "Pall Malls and government cheese"...?

 

I suppose it is the official vehicle of "I'll turn this van around mister!". Don't see a lot of 5 speed ones. Can you guys get away without cats there now?

If it's registered as an antique, they do t give a shit what it's missing or what condition it's in. A lot of people cheat the system by registering vehicles they are attached to when that vehicle will no longer pass inspection, by registering it as an antique. The only stipulation is that it must be at least 25 years old...

 

Believe it or not, people who are into car audio love those vehicles. Perfect setup for acoustics I've been told

Back in the 80's l remember a stereo shop had a Dodge minivan named Rolling Thunder, the name was very fitting.
