I've been meaning to do a video now that I know my afr's are not an issue and I just replaced the sensor the other day.

I do love them but I find the shifting clunky compared to the speed at which I need to shift now as I have to be in 6th gear at around 100 kph and revs are around 3200-3300 rpm at 130 kph. The gears fit the power band very nicely in my opinion where the common man would think it's over geared. Where the over gearing shows up is when trying to cruise at highway speeds but it still doesn't seem terrible. It would be for an 4 hr plus road trip I'm sure.

I did a 4wd launch a couple weeks back where some Ram was driving rowdy coming up behind me so at a light I gave her a go to see how it would be and it was awesome. Instantly six car lengths ahead and still increasing speed Hahaha. Buddy seemed to drive a lot tamer in the rear view mirror.

Gonna settle between 4.56(?) and 4.30. I don't mind being around 3000rpm on the highway, truck seems to hit the resonator just right at that speed.

Also, put the front LSD in finally.

That would be awesome! I've noticed there seems to be some gearing limitations with most front lsd's for what size gears you can go with although thick cut vs thin (or vice versa) cut may give more options.

Ah damn... so I could run the risk of busting something? I'll have to check in on the Torsen retrofit thread and see what guys have done.

Yeah, I think it's limited to maybe 4.10 or even 3.whatever but the cut of the gears can possibly give you more. @BassAckwards may know more details on this one.

So on the torsen LSD by nitro, they can only be used with the 3.73 and down carrier. So 3.73 gears or higher ratios (lower numerically) so it’d work perfect with your stock 3.73s.

Like Russ mentioned, there are also options to run thick cut gears with a different ratio and they will work up front too. For example, a while back I was planning on running thick cut 4.10s to work with my stock 3.73 carrier so I could use a torsen lsd. Let me know if any of that doesn’t make sense!

So long story short, if you want an LSD up front, you will need to make sure they offer a set of thick cut gears in the ratio you want to run. As far as I know, the only ones that aren’t offered in thick cut are 5.29s

So sky's the limit as long as the gears are thick cut?

Any idea if the thick cuts would work/are required for the FRS Torsen retrofit?

From what I understand that is the limiting factor. I initially wanted to put 5.29s with a torsen but it wouldn’t Work since they only offer thin cut 5.29s

All side and rear windows are now 20% tinted with XPEL-ST ceramic tint. Also had medium smoke film applied to the rear tail lights and rear cab brake light. The lights look waaaaay better to me and I'm liking them a lot more than I expected to. Quick, not very good pics taken a half hour before a rainstorm and one after.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with it. Just need to get my lift in and I'll be really happy with the overall asthetics.

Might have a week off or so and I think most of the suspension bits are in except for u Bolts so it may belt out some of that and maybe tie into the radiator upgrade and Aux fan wiring stuff.

Yeah Russ.. your truck is looking terrific!

I have a shit ton of u-bolts for ubolt flip. Do you need a specific length?

Thanks on the truck compliments Eddie and thanks for the ubolt offer but I should be mostly good to go.

I am not sure the length but I have the Archive bumpstops which are round around the axle and the nuts are on top of the bumpstop plate on my currently stock leafs. They are cut down and I'm guessing the icon rxt pack (installing them with the lowest lift setting) to be installed might be a little thicker so I ordered new ubolts just in case. I may install the front suspension only for now and drag ass a bit :D or maybe the current u Bolts will fit good enough until the new ones are in.

I should go down to Calgary to see you some time here. It's basically my turn. I should remove a couple of injectors to save fuel hahaha. Or, take the Tesla
