Unless you like the taste of rust, yes. You will soon be learning to cut, grind and weld, or learn how deeply you want to invest $ in this thing.

I live in Ohio and gave up trying to find older Tacoma's to buy around here. I learned real quick before I crawled under a truck to look in the bed first to see if the spare was there and not underneath.
If it was in the bed then I knew the frame more than likely was toast. They all seemed to go bad in that area as well. It amazes me how good the bodies will look but they are shot underneath. A lot of people get burned because they don't know.

It’s not done for although, it’s at the point that it’ll need lots of attention.
Rear crossmember is severely rusted on the driver side, which means there are probably holes elsewhere in the frame.

    Restoration Time!

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.

If you plan on buying it to drive right away don't even think about it. If you can weld and fabricate or have the money to pay someone to do the work than you could save it.

I don`t see anything real bad in these pictures .

What I see of the frame is in good shape.

Granted Price and up close in person inspection and road test before any decision.

Is this a truck that you already own or one you are looking to buy?
