I've never run into this before on a vehicle I've owned, but when I activate the windshield washer, the wipers don't activate. I can flip them on manually, but that's not ideal, of course. Any suggestions?

Normal on base trim models without intermittent wipers. The good news, is upgrading to intermittent wipers WITH the added function you want is as easy as removing the steering column covers, and replacing the wiper stalk switch with the intermittent one. About a 15 minute job, if you can stretch it out that long. :)

Thanks gents. Not sure if I'll make the switch, as the soak period could be handy. Good to know it's not a malfunction though.
