Has anyone done a caliper swap from a completely different vehicle? F250, Porsche, etc.

Yeah. I've seen some crazy swaps like putting Porsche calipers on a leaf. Obviously not a direct fit.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Quite possible when building a Street Rod.

Why would you do it to a current production vehicle that one can buy parts.

Anything would work work the right brackets. Figuring out piston size and appropriate bias/booster etc would be the tricky part. Even current setups on Lexus/4Runner etc have diff piston sizes than the similar Tacoma.

1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
My first gen 5 lug has Cadillac Brembo calipers and evo rotors. Very simple upgrade.
