Thankfully it's a test she doesn't have to study for!

Every Neurologist seems to do their testing, so I do not know. With mine, Movement Disorder Specialist (who mainly sees those with Parkinson's), that first appointment was about 90 minutes long. Lots of family history, medical history, observation of when things first occurred, etc. I had a history of metalworking, so I ordered a 24-hour urine test to check for heavy metals, MRI, and blood work. Simple things like getting out of a chair, walking down a hallway, turning around, walking back, and sitting down. Tap on one hand while making circles with the other.

Dr. Strangelove , one of my favorites. Peter Sellers, George C. Scott, Slim Pickens, truly a classic. Makes me want to watch it again.

Nothing like getting up at 3 and driving an hour to my Turkey hunting spot and realizing my Black Powder shooting bag is hanging on a hook on my porch right where I left it.
My kingdom for a pair of No11 percussion caps at 5am.
    First time for everything...I guess.

Isn't it strange how we have so many options in viewing today... but it's so hard to find something worth watching? I watched American Graffiti a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised that it still seemed to hold up as a watchable movie. So many of the movies I haven't seen, available on Netflix/Hulu/Prime/HBO are not worth watching. I get ten minutes into them and look over at my wife, "Have you seen enough?", and we channel surf until we find something else we will take a chance on.

Are there any tricks to cooking them? They've got to be different compared to cooking a domestic, fed bird.

    Morning all:

 Congrats on getting a turkey Bill and then helping your friend get one also.

:annoyed: I know the feeling bucktales, I did the same thing when FL hunting, only it was the primer powder instead of percussion caps. I now have a small tube with 4F powder in it taped to the sling just in case, at least I can get one shot by doing that if I were to forget my shooting bag. Good luck on getting your second bird!!!!

Friends out in Sacramento got their turkey permits.

Take the canoe out to one of the Sacramento Delta Islands. Two seconds after arriving, turkey pops his head up and gobbles at them. Guns were still stowed; he was gone by the time they were ready.

They spent the whole day tracking him, backtracking, and no luck. Sucker knew how to hide and get them down narrow trails but would suddenly be behind them and off again.

This went on from 6 AM to 6 PM; they stayed late, hoping to bag a turkey, nope.

Finally called it a day and headed back to the canoe. Not a sign of the elusive turkey. Everything loaded back, shotguns secure, and that damn turkey ran up the canoe to gobble and took off again.

They got permits on two other occasions; damn, turkeys are elusive. He never bagged one.

My nephew put out a decoy (southern Missouri, near Truman Reservoir) left it - was glassing back from the farm gate. Caught sight of a bobcat - also watching over the decoy. He sent my wif a snippet of film where the cat exits the brush to give the decoy a closer look.

That cat is probably the reason he has been so frustrated at trying to raise the local quail population! His local Mo. conservation guy has been coaching him about planting a perimeter on the property and it has brought in some critters - but not many quail.

    Carl,
For that reason alone, I use 3F for both main charge and prime.Never have an ignition issue using 3F in the pan.
For the main charge, I drop the charge 10grs for 3F due to finer grain and faster and "hotter" qualities.
    I use 3F for everything.

:rain::notsure: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Only thing I'm sure I'll be doing today is some plumbing. Simple enough cartridge change in the bath tub, and the dam handle broke. Cobbled it back together to get through the day. $45 Amazon later, new one will be arriving today. I hate plumbing...
