I know they aren't worth a damn but even Walmart is selling vinyl and players. I can't get the deluxe version of a PS5 game tho.

I mean.. the satellite radio is cool and all but the month of Mandatory Metallica is over now and since I got their new CD I can still listen to it in the truck

 

I burned all of my CDs to MP3s years ago. My truck had a CD player, but I replaced it with a BT head unit with a 50-watt amp. I'm either listening to talk radio, my MP3s, or Spotify.

 

Wait, people actually listen to Metallica past the Black album?

Songs download onto my phone from Amazon Prime Music.

As far as sound systems in vehicles go, nothing I've ever owned has been able to come close to the Bose system in my Grand Prix.

My theater room would be able to compete but I don't usually annoy the other occupants of the house to enjoy its full potential.

 

I can't get to Low Man's Lyric on Reload without going past Black.

Something about that song. Maybe it's the hurdy-gurdy.

 

Death Magnetic wasn't too bad, but you have to scour the interwebz for the demo version Demo Magnetic for the unprocessed sound. That makes it an actual decent album...

Years ago I scanned all our CDs into Mp3s on a NAS. Makes for super easy playlist development and maintenance for the phone

Anyone use TuneIn or similar internet radio? We found this awhile ago. OTA options are limited living in the sticks and it’s terrific to hear the stations from where we came from. It has stations from all over the globe. Worth checking out if you’re so inclined.

 

It seems like every few months I have trouble sleeping. That cycle appears to be now.

Three nights ago, couldn't fall asleep until 1:30am, got up at 5:30.

Two nights ago, went to bed at 9:30, awake from 1:00-2:30, got up at 5:30.

Last night, went to bed at 11:00, woken up by a thunder storm at 4:00.

I wake up several times a night to pee (meds, age), I have this same reaction depending on wife snoring, awkward bed position or pain. I can use earbuds and some relaxing music to make my mind less cluttered. Part of the issue with me is my mind wants to solve problems. Shutting that down is key.
I will occasionally take Tylenol PM to help with soreness and encourage sleep. I found that you can also buy just the PM component by itself. This is great since acetaminophen isn’t the best for you in any frequency and long term. There are phone apps made to help by generating white noise, soothing sounds, meditation, or even hypnosis with subliminal messages (your own). I hope you find this useful.

 

Yes.. yes they do... and this new album is worth a listen.

Well this week my 1998 Cushman Truckster stopped when I needed it, it has a 3 cyl Suzuki 660 31 hp motor in it, apparently the carb and emission stuff is a secret as I can’t find a diagram for the vacuum lines. I did found one broke and a couple missing. Did find a pic of a motor with lines and copied them all with new lines but still running rich. Got a maintenance book repair guide that doesn’t help. It been a pain lately Here is the motor pic I’m copying on the lines this thing is a beast when it runs so have call out to a friend who owns a motorcycle shop
