Hi all. I heard somewhere that I shouldn’t use iridium plugs in my 2011 4.0 Tacoma. Wondering if this is true or false? Somewhere I heard they get too hot? I dunno. Let’s hear what y’all got to say. Thx.

Some trucks run poorly with them but others are fine with them, there's no performance benefit to running them other than extended plug change intervals (although stock coppers have been proven to go over 100k) unless you are boosted in which case they are required.

IMO go with the stock plugs Denso K20HR-U11
