We moved down to be closer to aging family and definitely miss the mountains, air, and tap water. I'm enjoying the weather so far but its not the same. You don't enjoy the outdoors the sameway down here. It's just different.

My brother hated the pacific northwest for the same reason. Dense urban areas will always have issues. No homeless out in the burbs.

You gotta do water stuff out there, lots of lakes and rivers to play on plus lots of pools to crash. Galveston is always fun too

Plus with the money you save out there you can vacation here for a couple weeks a year and play in the mountains for a few days in a row

I ask myself, "do i really need a 4runner in my life?"
the ensuing internal struggle is real.

My parents are starting to clear house and have a fridge to sell. This bad boy was bought in Australia 20-ish years ago, been across the outback, sat for almost 20 years and still runs like a champ (looking at you Dometic ). Obviously it's an old unit but it has a coveted Danfoss compressor and it was built to suit the needs of miners out in Coober Pedy and shit. Would suit a period correct Land Cruiser build real well.

Excerpt from my Mom's craigslist post:

Cole Cool A50L (52 quart) portable single zone refrigerator, made in (and purchased in) Australia for The Outback. Fridge has a few wear marks complete with red Aussie dirt from use. Shipped back to the USA and stored in dry, clean area for 18 years. Fridge has been tested recently and works great. Danfoss BD35F DC compressor. Fridge works from 12/24 VDC and 120-240 VAC.

Price negotiable to an extent otherwise I'm just gonna buy it and add to my fridge collection.

    $300

Oh if this had shown up before I got my truck! Envious of whom ever buys it! These were great 4runners! Probably the best ever. The 4.7 was easily one of the best engines ever made!
More pictures and add-ons to drool over!

Camper setup for a 2nd gen (maybe 3rd gen) longbed. Build for one person. Includes drawer, 2 main pieces, and cut to fit mattress (twin). Has a ton of accessible storage, great spot for a water tank, and is cut to fit the exact floor print of the bed. It’s not bolted down, with gear in it it has never moved. Could use new staining. Has some wear marks, cuts to access topper bolt downs, etc.

$400. In Loveland. I don’t need to sell, but don’t have much use for it right now. Sorry for the dirty pics, was in the moving process. I can get new pics for anyone interested of it sitting in the garage
