What's the total added weight (Tray, batteries, holders, cables, etc.) to the fender?

It would be between 40-45 lbs. The stock G24F weighs 60 lbs whereas the G35’s are smaller and weigh 50 lbs each. Account for maybe 5 lbs of the tray (it’s aluminum). Some of that weight is redistributed to a flat portion of the fender with the side bracket.

Fell into a nice deal on an aluminum version of my skids, so I’m going to make the swap after I paint them.

It’ll help cut weight for when my bumper gets here. I need to order up my 14” coils still.

Stand alone switch or tied to "other" lights also?

Independent on this one. I have my roof rack light bar tied to my high beams (I’ve got a kill switch on it too so I can use my high beams independently if I want). With the lower bumper bar I want it independent because in snow the high beams are hazardous so I’d like to be able to turn the bumper bar on by itself without high beams or anything else . I’m out of circuits on my Bussmann, though, so @Puppypunter is sending over a GEP48 to feed my light addiction.

Yep that’s the one. @paranoid56 and I are working on a custom mount for it too. Running out of space in the engine bay now that the other battery is in there.

How many times are we going to do this?

5th time pulling the rear differential. This time I think the pinion preload came loose. Sending off to Nitro for diagnosis and more than likely a full rebuild.

Diff rebuild is done. My pinion started acting up after I pulled a skid steer out of a ditch… had a massive whine when decelerating. Sent the diff in a bucket directly to Nitro Gear to install a new ring and pinion, master install kit, a solid spacer to prevent the pinion from unloading, and then they rebuilt a lot of my air locker.

Finally off of jack stands after almost 3 full weeks. First drive I noticed the issue is gone. Just regular ol diff whine remains. I’ll do the full break in procedure tomorrow and then swap oil in 500 miles.

Hello, where did you get that TOP aluminun piece where you mounted the holders? Did you make it yourself or or did you purchase it from Slee? It is very, very sleek. I have seen your work. It is great. Congrats. I am running a BMS 30 product instead of the BCDC, both from Redarc. Great products. Please let me know details of that aluminun top. Thanks again.

Hey there -- the brackets were designed by me and then cut by @paranoid56. I assume he has the design file still and could probably cut it for you? It's pretty thin aluminum that just gets thru-bolted to the Slee battery tie down. I had to purchase longer j-bolts and cut them to size to make it all work, I believe. There's two sets of nuts -- one that anchors the battery tie down to the batteries, and then one that anchors the bracket to the top of the tie down. That way you can really wrench on the tie down without bending-out the aluminum bracket.
