I'm liking OEM Toyota wipers. Which last 2 years for me.

BAM Wholesale Parts is a good place if you don't want to buy from the parts dept. I get them from my dealership parts dept. for $8.00 a rubber insert. Don't have to pay shipping getting them there.

I use to be a Bosch Icon fan boy but $60 and change at O'Rielly's now. Fuck that! Last month when I was at the dealership getting my yearly oil change I bought the OEM wiper's mounted on the metal bracket for $58.00. Next year all I need is the $8.00 rubber insert for each wiper. No brainer on my part! Plenty of Youtube video's showing how easy it is to change the rubber out.

I used to buy the best I could find for about 10 years. But found they everything I've ever tried, gets cracked/ or starts leaving streaks within a short time. Likely due to where I work and not having any shade to park under. Started using some generic ones from Amazon, and found they last about the same. $17 shipped for a complete set.

My original OEM worked great right up to a rip type failure. Five years old at that point.

Let me say it again, they worked GREAT right up to that failure.
Some will say change every 6 mos; every year; every 2 years; etc. I'll change them when they need to be changed, regardless of the calendar. They either work or they don't.

When mine finally did fail, I bought the replacement rubber part only for $6.00 each at a local dealership. They are working perfectly.

I’m with you on the price. $29.99 a piece, even the ones for my wife’s car are up there.

Anco 3 series wipers are hands down the best.
sure you could pay $90 for blade only replacement through dealer, but for under $10 Anco per wiper, you simply can not go wrong.

This. I park outside 24/7/365. I like the idea of just installing rubber inserts, but the metal frames are a PITA in the winter time. I just buy the cheapest "non-metal frame" style and replace them every 6 months.
