Okay, but there are some jobs where anything cordless is simply ridiculous.

Try drilling holes in concrete for expansion bolts all day.
Or drill landscape ties for rebar (real retaining walls with weight behind 'em don't hold up without reinforcement... and not forgetting the deadmen).

Cordless impact drills and impact drivers are laughable.
I've burned out plenty of corded and pneumatic tools with heavy use.

The thought of trying to trim a house with cordless only... boggles the mind.
You get one day... you gotta hustle and you gotta have capable tools.
That means power on site (generator if no power), compressor, hoses, compound miter saw, portable table saw, nail guns, the works.

But like I said before, for light duty and/or occasional use, cordless tools have utility.

Sometimes you only need to run a couple of drilldos and a bushwhacker so you can get away with cordless, even those crappy Craftsman ones. o_O

Agree… wish it had a pole mount, but a ladder still works.
All of their tools are great, just the prices are ‘OUCH!’
I got most of mine when HD clearanced due to L signing exclusive.
A few when L was doing sweet intro prices to compete with HD closing out.
