Don’t know what you ordered but the total chaos bushings tend to work the best. I’d highly recommend them over any of the other options

Have to ask, where do you buy your replacement door handles?

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Amazon.

I've tried all of them except for the mythical metal door handles that are never in stock.

Got restless today, replaced the old exhaust, removed cat and went 2.5 inches into a super 10 then got creative and routed it over the frame at the end of cab pointed towards ground.
Bit too loud, either going to re pipe the cat in or add a resonator.
    Suggestions?

Super 10 will probably always be loud lol. Could try throwing the longest glass pack that will fit between the cat and the muffler.

Today I went to put a new speaker in my driver door and discovered my window door track was busted. My window has always made a ton of noise when rolled down any amount and that was the cause... I welded that up, installed 2 sheets of Killmat inside the door, and finally mounted up my new Kenwood 6.5" speaker. I also discovered my door handle is starting to crack so I'm waiting to put the door card back on til that shows up. It's the little things huh

This page has a great step-by-step guide (with pics) on the upgrade, as well as links to all the parts needed (at varying price points). OEM is best for the pads, but for the calipers you shouldn't pay the premium. Get them from your local parts store (ideally) or Amazon, which will give a lifetime warranty in case you ever need to replace them. And don't forget the upgraded lines, they make a big difference with the larger calipers.

I agree, not impressed with the quality versus the price of these. I don't eve wheel my truck and these are starting to tear at the mounting holes.

I have this as well but I run a 200 Cel vibrant cat and the longest Borla ProXS available all in 2.25”. Sounds pretty good at idle but Still a little loud for me under load. I think if I just move the exit to the rear bumper instead of dumping at the bed it would improve.

But that’s me, I have a pretty low tolerance for most exhaust noise.

I like the simplicity of it being short. I'm going to try a resonator first and reduce the crackle at load. If that don't work I'll run the longest glass pack I can between head pipe and current location of muffler

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Those vibrant ultra quiet resonators really do the job, took a ton of the rasp out of my land cruiser exhaust that only had a magnaflow. I bought another for the Tacoma since after the turbo all I have is pipe and a FlowFX muffler. Anything to remove the trombone noise the 5VZ makes on decel

The metal ones are nice and I haven't broken the handle itself but every couple of years I still need to buy a cheap handle. The clip for the rod that actuates the latch breaks and I replace it with the one off the cheap handle :homer:
