I wore through the heels of one of my favorite pair of hiking socks. So I decided to repurpose one of them as a cover for the metal-on-metal ball joint between the cylinder and clutch fork. I probably have to regrease this joint once or twice per year to prevent that godawful squeak that plague our manual trucks. Hopefully this'll extend the lube service interval for longer than that. Added a couple of zip-ties and I don't think its going anywhere. After/before pics attached.
